A kids fishing day is set to be held tomorrow (May 14) in Bognor.

It’s a free event for kids aged 4 to 12.

The Doug Wardell, Lorne Fletcher, Doug Wittich Memorial Kids Fishing Day will take place at Bill and Sue Murdoch’s Bognor Village Ranch.

‘Sudsy’s Pond’ is stocked with rainbow trout. Bait will be provided and fishing rods and reels will be available if required. Fish cleaning and ice packaging will be available (participants should bring small travel coolers). There will be first-aid staff on site.

Each participants will receive a prize goodie bag and there will be complimentary refreshments and a bbq lunch.

There is a two trout limit per person fishing. Fishing lures are not permitted.

There will also be special prize draws.

Kids Fishing Day is a community event by Outdoors Adventures.

The Bognor Village Ranch is located at 084672 Sideroad 6 in the Municipality of Meaford. There will be roadside signs posted.

The event is scheduled to take place between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
